Saturday 29 August 2009 - Fund raising concert in aid of persecuted Christians in Pakistan
Helping hands .................. helping to rebuild homes We have all been shocked and horrified by the tragic situation in Gojra & Korian where 60 Christian homes were burnt and many people have lost their lives, homes, livestock and possessions.  They have lost everything ..... As well as lobbying our Government and protesting to the High Commission in London we want to raise funds to alleviate the suffering, provide food and shelter for people. We want to help rebuild the homes in Pakistan.
This musical evening, organised by Voice for Jesus, with a mixture of traditional Asian-Classical and English worship, is to raise funds for those affected. Additional funds will be raised by auctioning prizes through out the evening.  Helping hand....helping to rebuild homes Venue: St Paul's Church, Stoke Road, Slough, SL2 5AS.
Doors open at 7.30pm, a meal will be served at 8.00pm.

Worship Warriors 2009 - Worshipping Youth, Winning Souls, United in Jesus. This event jointly presented by Voice for Jesus, Yesu Masih Ministries and Youth Tunez promises to be a spectacular evening of Worship, Word and fellowship. Featuring the inspiring gospel singer Hammad Baily, with Tehseen Khan bringing the Word of God and worshipping youth united in praise for Jesus.  This traditional Asian-Classical muscial evening with Hammad Baily on Saturday 28th March 2009 is being held at the Gilliat Hall, St Paul's Church, Stoke Road, Slough, SL2 5AS. Doors open at 7.30pm with a meal served at 8.00pm. Tickets are on sale at various churches in Slough and Southall. Call Hammad Baily 07500 705690 to find your local ticket distributor.
This promises to be an event steeped in Asian tradition, with guests encouraged to wear traditional Asian costume and enjoy this unique musical experience of accoustic guitar, tabla and classical singing. |

 We would like to wish all our friends and supporters in the UK and Pakistan a very happy Christmas. Hammad and Sally are spending their Christmas holidays in Pakistan visiting family and friends. Before leaving the UK they organised an Advent Praise Concert in St Paul's Slough and were involved in a number of outreach events singing Urdu and English Christmas songs in the High Street in Slough and for the Foyer residents (a young people's residential centre). Christmas is wonderful time to remember the many blessings God has given to us during the past year and to share the Good News of Jesus' birth. Happy Christmas and may God bless you abundently in the New Year.
