Hammad and Sally Baily returned to the UK at the end of May 2008 after two years of music ministry in Pakistan. Praise God for delivering the miracle of Hammad’s UK visa after many months of waiting. Tears flowed in Pakistan not only because Hammad and Sally left Pakistan but also two family tragedies came shortly afterwards. Joy flowed in Britain as Hammad and Sally returned to their home church St Paul’s in Slough and celebrated their Wedding Blessing at the end of June. This was a most memorable occasion with a fusion of Asian and Western cultures. More details and pictures will be shown in news section. Being in the UK gives Hammad and Sally access to training facilities to prepare them to return to Pakistan and open a music school in a few years time. Firstly, Hammad has enrolled at The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance in London, studying for a Higher Diploma in Guitar Music Performance from October 2008. Hammad is teaching guitar and keyboard skills to a number of students and has taken on a new role at an African Baptist church coaching their worship team. Sally is doing consultancy work for a small business in Slough on a part-time basis leaving time to learn bass guitar and improve her other musical skills. She plans to take an intensive TEFL/TESOL course to learn to teach English to speaker of other languages later in the year. She is also resuming her Urdu language study from October. Voice for Jesus performed concerts in two villages in Devon this summer and attended Soul Survivor with a group of young people from St Paul’s. They are now available to play at other churches and events so please contact sally@voiceforjesus.co.uk if you would like to arrange an event or invite Voice for Jesus to play at your church. |

Voice for Jesus is a Christian Band passionate about music mission. Our aim is to share the Gospel through Christian music, leading worship, performing concerts and recording Christian albums. Voice for Jesus is a multi-cultural Christian band, whose range of music includes rock, pop, uplifting worship, quiet meditative healing songs, and Eastern Classical. The main band members are Hammad and Sally Baily. Our home church is St. Paul’s, Slough, UK and we attend International Christian Fellowship at FC College in Lahore when in Pakistan.
Hammad and Sally have been involved in Christian ministry for many years and feel called to music mission. "Spiritual music is not just music, it’s more than that, it has a feeling and a message that can touch your heart. We believe Christian songs should not just be good compositions but should be theologically sound." Voice for Jesus have released three Christian music albums. The first album ‘Searching’ released in October 2005 contains original compositions based on the theme of healing and worship. The second album ‘Serving’ includes 5 tracks with Urdu lyrics. You can listen to demo tracks before buying the albums on-line. You can also review the song lyrics for 'Searching' and 'Serving' albums.
